HUNAN, Jun. 29 ( Aonan, Wang Fan) — Edward Boateng, Ghana's Ambassador to China accepted an exclusive interview with the Red Net reporter at the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo to discuss the reasons why the expo was held in Hunan.

African people have deep feelings for China, especially Hunan, because Hunan has two famous cards known in Africa. One is Chairman Mao and the other is Academician Yuan Longping. Hunan is the hometown of Chairman Mao, who was the founder of the People's Republic of China. With deep feelings for Chairman Mao, African countries and people extend their feelings to the hometown of Chairman Mao. Here we can learn how to unite a country, how to bring together the wisdom of the people, and promote the social and economic development in the country.

Yuan Longping, the father of hybrid rice, changes the world with a seed. It not only changes the level of agricultural production in Africa, but also changes the lives of African people. Boateng mentioned that when he led a delegation to Hunan two years ago, he met Academician Yuan Longping and got the chance of learning rice cultivation technique so as to improve the agricultural production level and output in Ghana.

He said that Ghana could learn a lot from Hunan, and Hunan could also give Ghana more opportunities, both in terms of business and the development pattern for Ghana, and even for Africa. Therefore, it is the best choice for China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo to be held in Hunan, the hometown of Chairman Mao.
